Who is eligible for our programme?

Our language-learning program is reserved exclusively for the EPFL community only (people working at Scientific Park/Innovation Park, without EPFL status, do not have access to our language courses).

At the time of their first registration, “non EPFL” members authorised to follow modules at the Language Centre will be able to set up an IS-Academia account and will receive ID (to retain in case of a new registration at a later date). Registration can then be done online.

EPFL students

All persons in possession of a student card are considered EPFL students: Bachelor and Master students, those attending continuing education programs such as the Master of Advanced Studies, Executive Master or Diploma of Continuing Education, CMS (Special Mathematics Course) students, exchange students, Confederation grant-holders and foreign grant-holders. This category also includes PhD candidates at the EPFL not receiving a salary from the latter. This category also includes PhD candidates at the EPFL.

Priority is given to students over all others participants categories (EPFL and/or external employees, spouse/partners of EPFL professors).
